Leveraging the world’s response to AIDS, UNAIDS works to build political action and to promote the rights of all people for better results for global health. It sets policy and is the source of international HIV-related data. Functioning in Kyrgyzstan since 1996, UNAIDS brings together the resources of the UNAIDS Secretariat and 11 UN system organizations for coordinated and accountable efforts to support the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in UNAIDS’ Getting to ZERO strategy: ZERO new HIV infections; ZERO HIV-related deaths, ZERO stigma and discrimination.

“UNAIDS is committed to leveraging existing and novel partnerships with people, communities, governments and country and global champions to support the implementation of UNAIDS Getting to Zero Strategy for 2011-2015.”
