Terms of Reference:

Under the direct supervision of Procurement Specialist, the incumbent performs the following duties and responsibilities:

  1. Provides logistics support to all procurement activities, preparation of documents for shipment, drafting correspondence related to shipment/customs clearance, physical checks of delivered equipment, inventory control and tagging of procured equipment and follows up safe and timely delivery of equipment to final destination points;

  2. Provides operational support to the Procurement and Admin/Finance Assistants;

  3. Tags non-expendable equipment;

  4. Participates in purchasing of services and equipment funded by the programme and supports in preparation of necessary documents for CAP and ACP submissions;

  5. Monitors progress of procurement contracts and ensures timely responses to vendors using programme registry email account;

  6. Prepares relevant letters of transfers and agreements of procured assets and prepares relevant reports/ regular updates of procured and delivered equipment;

  7. Performs other duties as instructed by direct management;

Background:

Bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of relevant working experience in international organisations, knowledge of modern office equipment, driver’s license and driving experience not less than 3 years would be an asset, PC literacy, diligence, commitment, sense of responsibility, ability to cope with stress, initiativeness, friendly personality, and problem-solving abilities, good knowledge of English and Russian for daily communication, knowledge of Kyrgyz is an asset.
